The waste is sorted into different fractions in the ballistic separator:
- Rolling heavy materials, e.g. Hollow bodies, plastic bottles, stones, wood, cans, steel profiles
- Flat, light materials, e.g. Foils, textiles, paper, cardboard boxes, fiber products
- Sieve fraction – depending on the paddle perforation, different grain sizes can be separated
- Optimal distribution on the directly after installed acceleration conveyor NIR (near infrared device)
- Adhesion to materials are released
